This will open a new email to majordomo@abdn.ac.uk (the automatic email list server) in your email program (Outlook, Apple Mail etc.) with the text 'subscribe aces-mailinglist' in the body of the message, which you can directly send (no need to specify a subject).
We usually send a compilation of announcements and news no more than twice a week, so that your inbox doesn't get flooded.
