Current Research

Matters in Mind: Exploring Environmental Attitudes and Behaviours

The work will be exploring the reasons behind the apparent disconnect between ‘what we know to be right’ and ‘what we actually do’ in ‘green/non-green’ behaviour choices (also known as the action/value gap).  Methods from Psychology will be applied to issues in Human Geography to address the challenge of engaging the public in environmental behaviour.

Supervisors: Dr Antonio Ioris (UoA), Dr Linden Miles (UoA).
